It was a big hit at SDCC, people were stopping me everywhere to ask me where I got it, and the look on their faces when I told them I made it was priceless!

Unfortunately, no. With the high cost of the 3-D printed parts and all the work that goes with painting, sanding, electronics, etc., I would have to charge about $3000 to make it truly worthwhile. However, you can purchase the 3D printed parts from Shapeways for about $550 and go from there if you really want to make your own!
I ordered the parts in February and finished it just in time for SD Comic-Con in July (literally up to the evening before!) So I'd say probably between 30 and 50 hours total. (A lot of that time was spent sanding, priming, and painting all the parts)
